There are a lot of places you can go to find great Minecraft skins. I think everyone who plays Minecraft is already familiar with the Skindex, so I won't even mention that one. Instead, here are some fun choices for a better variety of skins to dress up your character in the Minecraft game.
Planet Minecraft
This site has a lot of stuff for Minecraft: maps, tips, skins and more. They claim to have over 1 million skins. That's a lot to try out!

Tynker's Skins Editor
More of a coding tool for making your own skins and stuff. But very cool and easy to use. You can start with a template, like the Cyclops skin below, and edit it any way you want.
Minecraft XL
Another really good collection of Minecraft skins. There are a lot of popular celebrities, sports stars and movie and tv characters represented here. There is a search box to help you sort through the giant database of skins.
There's also a skin editor so that you can customize what you find or create a new Minecraft skin from scratch.
